In my research this website was very helpful in finding a project. I took a test on my interests and a list of projects was given to me. I could change the difficulty rate to go for a more changeling project. When I chose a project a detailed summary and procedure was given to me. This source is very reliable because it helps find a project that fits your interests making it easier for you to keep up with. It also gives you an interest in the project chosen, making it a fun experience for you. (http://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects/project_ideas/Soc_p008.shtml)
I found this website to be very helpful in my specific project. It gave me a detailed summary and the point of my experiment. Also procedures I should do and survey help. I found this source very reliable in my certain project. It helped give me a certain idea on how to go with this project. It also helped me with designing a survey and choosing a number of participants for it.(http://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentoring/project_ideas/Soc_survey.shtml)
This website was very helpful in choosing common fears. I used it to choose common fears shared among people to get a better idea for the project. It provided great examples which were a huge help. I found this source very reliable. It was a list of fears that people share. Very common fears.(http://www.selfhelpcollective.com/most-common-fears.html)
This website helped me with detecting if people where being honest with the survey. It also helped me see how a study was made based on fears. I found this source very reliable because it was first a study. Second it was very detailed and it was made by the national geographic society. For my experiment I surveyed people asking if they are afraid of a list of common fears. I surveyed five people per age group. My age groups consisted of toddlers\kids, pre teens, teens, adults, and the elderly. My conclusion of my project supported my hypothesis. The adults and elderly had less fears then the toddlers\kids did. I liked leaning about the people's fears and why they had them. A source of error that could be found in my project was the amount of people interviewed per age group. That number had changed from the original number of ten to the new number of five.
Sources of Error
The number of people I interviewed changed from ten in the beginning to five total at the end of my experiment.
